Big Value Comedy Show – Early
By Emma Obank | Published on Thursday 16 August 2012
With a rowdy local comedy club feel, the early evening instalment of ‘Big Value Comedy Show’ offers three circuit comics compered by Scotland’s Alan Anderson for just five pounds sterling. If audience banter is your bag then this show is for you; as one audience member quite rightly stated “you should be paying US for the show”. The early show line up includes Peter McCole, a self-deprecating Scouser with some silly school stories, cocky yet witty comedian Fin Taylor and Paul Sweeney enigmatic musical comedian with a high-pitched voice to boot. It’s a good line up at a reasonable price, but I can’t help thinking you might be able to find something similar, and equally if not more entertaining in the free strands.
