ED2012 5/5 Reviews ED2012 Comedy Reviews
BBC – The Festival Cafe (BBC Radio Scotland)
By Katie Cunningham | Published on Friday 31 August 2012
If you can get hold of a ticket, the 10th edition of the BBC’s famous comedy radio broadcast is free and it’s fun, especially for fans of the radio show. This one included interviews and performances by comedians Mike McShane and Les Dennis, as well as songs from the revived 1970s musical Glasvegas. Presented, as all the broadcasts are, by Janice Forsyth, it’s a great way to spend forty five minutes. The songs in particular made the session entertaining, and Glasvegas, with its blend of 50s style music and Scottish humour, should be a great show to see. If you want a good idea of what everyone’s talking about at the Fringe, then this is one of the best ways to find out.
