ED2012 4/5 Reviews ED2012 Comedy Reviews
BBC – Loose Ends (BBC Radio 4)
By Hannah Sweetnam | Published on Friday 31 August 2012
This BBC Radio 4 recording had everything from interviews to live music. Hosts Clive Anderson and Arthur Smith did a fantastic job, warming up the audience with their whimsical material. Clive kicked the show off, interviewing music producer, Nile Rodgers, who spoke about his young mother, drug use and near death experiences, whilst remaining chipper and thoroughly entertaining. Other conversation came from political commentator Steve Richards, impersonator Jan Ravens and comedian Greg Proops. The line-up chatted amongst each other, entertaining the lucky ticket holders, with a mix of satire and witty comment. With all this plus music from Edinburgh indie rock band, Meursault and lyrically excellent Lillian Boutté, the podcast is definitely worth a listen.
