Absolute Stripping! (To Be Continued…)

‘Grab your pint and get ready’ states the blurb; they should be careful what they wish for. Inviting and enticing drinkers and the drunk serves to undermine the efforts of this reasonably talented improv group. As witty as they were, and serving up all the classic improv games (though here mistakes are met with a cat-call to strip), their comedic efforts were somewhat ruined by an audience in many cases too drunk to come up with witty suggestions, or too inebriated to interact usefully with the troupe. It’s a shame, because the participants were really rather talented and deserved better. A show by the same group but with a less tacky premise would surely offer greater rewards.
