Jerry Sadowitz – Comedian, Magician, Psychopath (Mick Perrin for Just for Laughs Live)

Prepare to be totally offended, outraged and slightly disturbed, yet at the same time find it all incredibly amusing. Sadowitz’s provoking celebration of homophobia, paedophilia, bestiality and all things racist should not be funny. However, there is something about this man that makes you want to cry with laughter: he is like no other comedian. A modern-day Nazi, an enigmatic nightmare, his ruthless profanity appalls; his penis routines stun, whilst his lethargic approach to magic results in hysterics. One of the world’s most underrated comedians, Sadowitz is an honest beacon in an industry famous for lacking sincerity. Managing even to make Frankie Boyle appear angelic, Sadowitz is a real gem at this year’s Festival.
