How Do I Get Up There? (How Do I Get Up There?)

By | Published on Saturday 27 August 2011

Tightly written and well performed, these quick-fire sketches keep the laughter up throughout the show. Ignoring the exposition transition, and at times mocking it, the sketches begin without any information, the audience are expertly guided to recognising the setting and joke by themselves. Often the last line revelation would contain all the scene’s humour but it’d be worth it. However, at times it would have been better to keep the sketch going than to end so abruptly; they are a strong team who could have handled material that dwelled longer on a situation. One sketch in particular begins normally enough but then descends into a fourth wall breaking body double scene. Easily the best sketch of the show.
