It doesn’t matter if you don’t know your Critical Role from your Coriolanus, you’ll have a blast with this fun, interactive improv show. Fans of Dungeons and Dragons and/or the Bard will definitely get more out of it, but things are explained clearly in entertaining fashion. Volunteers join Dungeon Master Shelby onstage, taking on the roles of famous characters from Shakespeare, or fierce creatures from D&D. They decide what to do, rolling an over-sized d20 (twenty sided die) to determine success or failure. Our performance featured the grave digger from Hamlet, a bullywug and a weretiger going on a quest to find Cleopatra’s asp. Even if those words mean nothing to you, you’re still in for chaotic-good fun.
