A meaningful musical produced by a Hong Kong theatre troupe and performed in Cantonese with English subtitles. It manages to brilliantly appeal to grown-ups – it’s a very thought-provoking experience – and is performed with fantastic and captivating enthusiasm by the cast of six, resulting in a show that is fast-paced and enjoyable. It’s a story of a protagonist looking for her independence through the intimation of a ‘home’, and for the Hongkonger, the definition of a home can be difficult to define. It is an original little masterpiece, combining vivid lyrics, physical movement, and bundles of imagination, accompanied by a charming and fitting score. Claps for Eva Yip for her amazing directing, it is superb.
