1500+ more Edinburgh Fringe shows announced

The Edinburgh Fringe Society last week announced that tickets are now on sale for another 1564 shows, bringing the total number of shows confirmed for this year’s Edinburgh Fringe to 3356.

The new additions include shows across all genres and, says the Fringe Society, “tackle some of the most topical issues in the world today, from women’s history and life in the US to the paranormal; living with illness to modern dating; queer joy and existentialism to club culture and conspiracy theories”.

Tickets for the 3356 shows already announced are on sale via the Fringe Society’s website, with some Fringe venues already selling tickets via their websites too. For those who still like to browse all the shows available at the Festival via the physical printed Fringe Programme, that will be available from 3 Jun.

The Fringe Society’s new CEO Tony Lankester says: “In this last release of shows before the full programme launch 3 Jun, it’s incredibly exciting to see the range of work that artists are bringing to Edinburgh this year”

“August is ever closer”, he adds, “and if you’re keen to support artists in advance of this year’s festival, you can book tickets in advance, add free and unticketed shows to your favourites lists, and mention artists and companies on social media to share their shows further”.
