In this intelligent and often funny show, Aaron Pang relates his life with a life-changing disability. We learn of its nature and how he has to manage it; and of his parents’ differing expressions of love and hope. We also learn about how it affects his other relationships. Specifically, the second half of the show deals frankly with his sex life and how, almost necessarily, it develops along its own unique path. But this show is far from a straightforward narrative. There are surprises as the plot develops, and we puzzle over the power of stories and the nature of truth. Thoughtful more widely about cognitive bias beyond just attitudes towards disability, this is a thoroughly engaging piece of theatre.
