This engaging show offers a funny and honest account of Louisa’s personal experience of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. We routinely say ‘ADHD’ but may not know much of what it means for people who have it. Recently diagnosed as an adult, Louisa tells of the understanding and confidence she gained as a result. For her, it was unambiguously good, but she does not shy from the related urgent and challenging questions about identity posed in our modern society. Do labels help us understand ourselves, our difference from others and indeed others’ differences from us? The show has added music including a few songs worthy of the late great Tom Lehrer. It is itself slightly disordered but very enjoyable.
