Sisters Flo and Joan are at that stage of their career where they don’t need to do too much to win over the audience, but they still work hard to deliver an entertaining show. This is a selection of their greatest hits, with a few lesser-heard tunes thrown in. Their song about staying in to wait for a parcel shows their ability to create an entertaining tune from an irritating everyday situation we can all relate to. I’d forgotten that they did those bank adverts. I’m only reminded when they perform a selection of ‘rejected’ songs from the campaign. In terms of musical comedy, the deadpan Flo and the frantic Joan are among the best currently around.
