Nature documentaries have never been engaging or entertaining to me, but Bi-Curious George has certainly found a way and it’s to make it incredibly gay. The hour plays like a typical BBC1 nature documentary, but with our host in glorious costumes and the audience performing the roles of animal. There are songs, dancing, comedy and heavy encouragement for the audience to run wild, allowing the show to fly by like a good party that you never want to end. Yet, as this all goes on the show is remarkably educational, I learned more from this than in science class. Furthermore, alongside all the sex information there’s a message to always be your authentic self. Bi-Curious George certainly delivers pure drag show excellence.
