I’m not about to try and review half a dozen stand-up comics’  sanitised short bits, that’s not really the point of writing about this show. It’s more a prompt for parents like me, whose kids are starting to bump against the upper age-range limits of the childrens’ programme, but for whom next steps can be hard to gauge, particularly for stand-up comedy. This show has six stand-ups doing ‘clean’ – there’s a swear jar by the stage –  6 or 7 minute bits from their actual shows. None were one-star, none were fives. But, for the opening of a window upon new worlds of possibility, and a primer on what the Fringe actually is and/or once was, well worth a spin.
