Take It Interns (1945 Productions)

A group of young adults stumble into the world of the internship, where this tongue in cheek musical intelligently takes the mickey out of offices where no real work gets done. I instantly felt comfortable in the hands of this company, with their fantastic live music, and brilliant singers and actors. Creating engaging, energetic and well rounded characters, this team were unafraid of filling the space and using the set imaginatively, and worked seamlessly together to deliver both lyrics and a script that was fast paced, thought provoking and hilarious. This excellent show, with its catchy refrains and beautifully sung harmonies, offered a superb reminder that life is about scrapping your ego and making the most of the people around you. Generous, fresh and funny; I’d watch it again and sing along.

C, until 26 Aug, 10.00pm.
