Assassins (Two Squared Productions)
By Rachel Campbell | Published on Thursday 23 August 2012
With more stars and stripes than Disney World on July 4th, ‘Assassins’ has a typical, big American style. The musical looks at the assassinations of American presidents and turns them in to an extravagant show full of singing and dancing. Despite some questionable facial expressions from a few of the actors the show was almost note-perfect and very enjoyable. Not only is it funny, but it’s actually very interesting delve into the background of some of the world’s most famous assassinations and letting us imagine what actually happened on the days leading up to them. The show twists and turns and unravels in expected, exciting ways ways, providing a humorous take on some very serious events.
