Martin Mor – A Man You Don’t Meet Everyday (Martin Mor / The Stand Comedy Club)

By | Published on Friday 24 August 2012

Martin Mor is not a man you would meet everyday, nor would want to in a dark alley. Disarmingly cheery, his persona and light-hearted charm seems oddly at ease with his hulking figure, tattoos and facial hair. Full of banter, the show feels more like a witty exchange between the audience and performer, which belies a sense of intimacy and understanding that enhances Mor’s cheeky and lewd material. Sporting probably the Fringe’s best beard-vagina impression, Mor tests his audience, attempting to catch them off-guard with a selection of staggering innuendo (butterflies have lost all their innocence). Sly, confident and talented, Mor is a class-act – you won’t feel unsatisfied after an evening with this fantastic funny man.
