Don’t Mess (WitTank / PBH’s Free Fringe)
By Eleanor Pender | Published on Wednesday 31 August 2011
These WitTank boys are no one-trick ponies. Experienced Fringe performers Kieran Boyd and Mark Cooper-Jones hold their own in this free Fringe show. Proving his quality as a stand-up comedian, Kieran used familiar everyday topics that in anyone else’s set would sound like typical conversation; under his gentle control, stories of sarcastic train drivers, odd policemen and no-smoking signs are genuinely funny. Mark shows he can indeed be Mark ‘Super’ Jones as he successfully plays down contributions from one specific audience member and displays his extensive geographical knowledge in a quiz-style finale. Anyone unsure about WitTank should see this show. This is a friendly hour in the company of two very talented comedians.
